Properties of Amethyst
Amethyst has been a symbol of peace, purity and unification and can aid in bringing serenity and calmness. It is deemed “nature’s tranquilizer” by many healers. Many people use amethyst to promote more restful sleep. It is also commonly used to relieve headaches, nightmares, as well as general edginess. Amethyst may have the ability to transmute lower energies into the higher frequency of the spiritual levels. It also clears the aura and stabilizes any dysfunctional energy located within one’s body.
